Microphlebectomy

Microphlebectomy is an in-office procedure used to remove varicose veins that are not amenable to an endovenous ablation or sclerotherapy.  It may also be used to remove residual varicose veins following an ablation.  A small area of the skin is numbed and a tiny incision is made through the skin to remove the diseased vein.  Bandaids are applied to the incision(s) and then either a compression bandage or stocking is utilized over the treated area.  You may resume normal activities within a few days.
